With the Kansas City Chiefs expecting running back Spencer Ware to miss the entire season due to a torn PCL, it’s time for fantasy owners to react accordingly.

The Chiefs keep claiming that they are dedicating more to the running game and without West there are questions as to who will fill the void.

While it may very well start out as the running back by committee, all signs point to rookie Kareem Hunt will get the first shot at filling Ware’s shoes.

While Charcandrick West and C.J.Spiller will get some touches, head coach Andy Reid has stated that Hunt will get a shot at the starting gig.

Huntis a physical 5-foot-10, 216-pound back and forced an FBS-best 100 missed tackles on 303 touches during the 2016 season, according to Pro Football Focus who graded him the highest rated FBS running back.

Hunt also possess 3-down potential as he has an ability to be a reliable target in the passing game.

Hunt caught 93 percent of his targets according to ESPN.
