The suspension of Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott is likely to prevent him from playing in at least 6 games this upcoming season.

But fantasy owners who may not want to wait around for Elliott could roll the dice on picking up some depth in the middle rounds of their draft.

A good candidate is who plays behind Elliott in Dallas and who has been taking 1st team reps in practice.

Darren McFadden.

McFadden, 29, is only one season removed from rushing for 1,089 yards and 3 touchdowns for Dallas and hauling in 40 catches for 54 yards.

The dual-threat factor makes McFadden an attractive choice for fantasy owners looking to add solid depth for the start of the season.
