Robinson is likely out for the year with what is believed to be a torn ACL, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported.
The Jaguars rolled to a 29-7 victory over the Houston Texans in Week 1 and while the victory was a positive, Robinson’s injury casts a dark shadow over any celebrations.
With the loss of Robinson it is likely that the Jaguars will turn to Allen Hurns to pick up the slack but it is also likely that they will scour the free agent market for additional help.
Still, Hurns will be the primary target for the time being and although his production numbers were low on Sunday, it was due to the score more than anything else.
If Hurns is available in your league, now is the time to pick him up or move him from your bench to your starting lineup.
Robinson may be worth a cut altogether, or working a trade to recoup draft picks ahead of next season.
