Panthers’ Kelvin Benjamin To Start On Sunday

Carolina Panthers wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin is set to play on Sunday against the New England Patriots barring a setback with his left knee injury, coach Ron Rivera said on Thursday.

“Did a nice job of moving around,” Rivera said. “Looked good out there. He really did.”

Benjamin went down awkwardly in the second quarter of the Panthers’ game against the New Orleans Saints last Sunday.

Benjamin’s knee that suffered a season-ending ACL tear during the 2015 training camp was twisted up on the play.

Carolina was happy to hear that an MRI showed no structural damage.

Benjamin should be a stash for fantasy owners who should be cautious playing him until they see how healthy he is.
