It May Be Smart To Avoid Lions In Week 16 Fantasy Play

The Detroit Lions have a fantasy stud in Matthew Stafford, so it’s hard to imagine too many scenarios where playing Stafford isn’t your best play.

While Stafford may put up decent numbers, he is by far the better play when compared to his Lions’ teammates.

Detroit will play their Week 16 tilt against the Cincinnati Bengals without three of their offensive lineman, center Travis Swanson, right tackle Rick Wagner, and guard T.J. Lang.

This makes playing Stafford a bit tougher seeing as he could be under immense pressure against a Bengals defense that has both Vontaze Burfict and Dre Kirkpatrick back from injury.

If Stafford is a must play, avoiding Lions’ running backs and wide receivers should be considered, especially if you are on the fence with other players under consideration to start in their place.

Be weary of Detroit players this week.
