Packers Place Aaron Rodgers On Injured Reserve

The Green Bay Packers are placing quarterback Aaron Rodgers on injured reserve, shutting the veteran down for the remainder of the season.

It’s a sensible move for the Packers, who are better off shutting Rodgers down rather than risking re-injury by playing him in the final 2 games of the regular season.

With Green Bay out of playoff contention, there is no reason to risk playing Rodgers.

Fantasy owners who have Rodgers have probably prepared for playing without him, so this loss is probably something that can be dealt with.
